Though the redevelopment efforts on most roads in Uganda, but roads in Uganda are characterized by holes, speed humps which are mostly common in city centres, sharp corners and hilly terrains which limits your view especially in central, western region.

Be careful when driving here, the marram roads which are a wider spread in rural areas are holey, stony, very muddy and slippery in rainy seasons and dust during the dry seasons. Having a weaker 2-wheel vehicle sometimes makes difficult to maneuver in such roads and the only recommendable are the 4×4 vehicles.
