Rent a 4×4 jeep and hit the rough terrain roads in Kisoro visiting to some of the tourist attractions which include Mgahinga and Bwindi. From Kisoro you can choose the route to take, if you want to do self-drive experience with the 4×4 rooftop tent vehicle towards Rwanda or Uganda parks it is much possible as all our 4×4 jeeps have got requirements that can allow you to cross with it to other East African countries.

The Rwanda route will take you to Volcanoes National Park and here you can do gorilla trek, golden monkey track, Dian fossey hike, Mount Bisoke hike, visit Iby’Iwacu village. Continue to Lake Kivu after visiting the Musanze Caves, on this route looking both your sides enjoy the green covers of the green plantation tea.

On you break at the Lake Kivu have a boat cruise to the beautiful fishing villages and look towards the Democratic Republic of Congo and you will have the interesting view of the active volcanic mount Nyiragongo.

Along the shores of Lake Kivu enjoy the undulating landscapes as you proceed to Nyungwe Forest where you will experience the chimps trek, canopy walk and much more can be found in the park. Later drive towards the Kigali city via the Butare and you can take a stop over at the Butare Museum and experience the Intore dance.

Drive towards to Akagera National Park with the stopover at the Kigali city and then Akagera suitable for the wildlife safari. This park you need quite enough time to look for the African wildlife as many are found in this park since it acts as the wildlife corridor to wildlife that some times move from Tanzania parks. Thereafter, if you are taking a road trip holiday in Uganda from Kisoro you can drive towards south – west and you can drive via Kigezi wildlife game reserve (Ishasha sector) then to Queen – Kibale – Murchison – Kidepo – Pian Upe – Mount Elgon and lastly Jinja where you can experience the active adventures like Bungee Jumping and White-water rafting. Later return to Kampala – Entebbe marking the end of your round road trip in Uganda.
