Day 1: Entebbe – Jinja

Have breakfast, then transfer to Jinja via Ssezibwa falls to see the spiritual healing waters, then proceed for lunch at the lodge and in the afternoon visit the source of the Nile and relax your evening at the shores of the River. Overnight stay at Wild Waters Lodge/Haven Lodge Jinja/Holland Park Cottages. Meal plan: H/B

Day 2: Jinja – Sipi Falls (Mount Elgon National Park) 

After breakfast depart to Sipi falls in Mount Elgon, via Mbale town, and Lunch at Sipi River Lodge check in and in the afternoon you go a guided walk to all the three waterfalls of Sipi, you return later in the evening for dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Day 3: Sipi – Moroto

Depart to Kidepo National park with an overnight along the way in Mount Moroto hotel while enjoying the land scape of Karamoja arriving in time to the hotel for lunch, relax and dinner and overnight. Meal plan: F/B

Day 4: Moroto – Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, take the mount Moroto hike and after have lunch and then leave Moroto to Kidepo Valley arrive in time for the evening activities depending on the conditions of the roads. In the evening you can take a game drive around the lodge area with fantastic views down the Narus valley and over a waterhole frequented by many animals including elephants, herds of buffaloes, warthog, giraffes, zebras, among others. Dinner and overnight at Apoka Safari Lodge/Nga’moru Wilderness Camp/Apoka Banda’s. Meal plan: F/B

Day 5: Kidepo Valley National Park

After an early breakfast, go for morning game drive to Kanangorok hot spring. A variety of animals can be seen roaming around including the Ostrich. Return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon have a cultural experience that will bring into contact with Karamajong peoples at Karenga and Kapedo. Meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them. They will show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items plus a cultural performance. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Kidepo Valley National Park – Gulu

Have breakfast after depart from Kidepo valley National park with an overnight en-route in Gulu Town while enjoying the land scape of Northern contours arriving in time to the hotel for lunch, relax and dinner and overnight at Bomah Guest House/Churchill Courts/Acholi Inn. Meal plan: F/B

Day 7: Gulu – Murchison Falls National Park

After good breakfast at your lodge, continue with the journey to Murchison falls. Along the way, you will encounter variety of birds, monkeys, and baboons. Upon arrival at the park, you will enjoy the game drive in Murchison falls while heading to your lodge and will stay at Fort Murchison Camp/Heritage Cottages/Bwana Tembo Tented Camp/Red Chill Camp. Day 8: Murchison Falls NP – Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

You will be served with breakfast very early in the morning, then proceed to enjoy a game drive while viewing variety of the 4 big game and other animals before retiring to your camp for lunch. In the afternoon, in the afternoon transfer for a three hours launch trip that allows you more bird watching of species like the shoe bill and animals like crocodiles, hippos and elephants. The park supports 460 of birds including vulnerable and rare shoe bill stork. Then in the evening transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Nakasongola for dinner and overnight at Amuka Game Lodge. Day 9: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary – Kibale Forest National Park

Early morning after breakfast you go for a guided nature walk to search rhinos’ farm. After have lunch and proceed to fort portal for overnight at Kibale Forest Camp/Chimpanzee Guest House/Chimp Nest Camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day 10: Chimpanzee Trekking & Community Visit

Drive to Kibale Forest National Park- commonly known and accepted for its excellent diversity of and massive primates in East Africa. You will go for guided walk to search for the wild chimpanzees, black white Colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, butterflies of different species and many others.  In the afternoon you will go to the crater lakes region and then later in the evening be entertained by a cultural group for more cultural dances. Day 11: Kibale Forest – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park where we shall take on a morning game drive in search of the wild game and a marvel view of the great lakes of Lake Edwards and Lake George, then also the great Kazinga channel. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel to Lake Edward.  Both the game drive and launch trip will reward you with animals like Defassa water bucks, bush bucks, Buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, hippos, pythons and Kobs and birds like the rare shoe bill. Dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge/Enganzi Lodge/Elephant Safari Camp/Simba Safari Camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day 12: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Lake Bunyonyi

Go through the Ishasha sector to see the tree climbing lions. You will have lunch en-route and then proceed to Lake Bunyonyi for dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Camp/Byoona Amagara Camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day 13: Lake Bunyonyi- Lake Mburo National Park

You will have a rest at the shores of Lake Bunyonyi or go for a nature walk around Lake Bunyonyi to search for birds both small and large birds. You can also go for boat ride on the Lake to search for water birds and game too. Then drive off to Lake Mburo National Park which is a 4 hours’ drive. Go for a game drive to view impalas, elephants, buffaloes, elands and zebras. Rest have lunch, dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock Lodge/Mburo Eagle’s Nest Camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day 14: Lake Mburo-Lake Nabugabo

Morning walk with armed guide and afternoon boat ride on Lake Mburo National Park while viewing Crocodiles, Hippopotamus and water birds including; Fish Eagles, Pelicans, Black crake, Heron, Cormorant, and the rare shoe bill stork Lunch, dinner and overnight at Nabugabo Beach Camp. Meal plan: F/B

Day 16: Lake Nabugabo – Entebbe/Ngamba Island

The morning will be yours to enjoy, in the water or on the forested shores. Nabugabo has sand beaches, is safe for swimming and has been declared a protected Ramsar wetland. After lunch we will start making our way back to Entebbe, a ride of approximately 4 hours.

Day 17: Ngamba Island – Entebbe – Departure

Early morning, board your boat; depart for Ngamba Island the Chimpanzee Sanctuary for a briefing before you take tour around the Island. On a viewing platform, see how the Chimpanzees are fed and interact with the care takers at feeding time.  You have to enjoy because this is the climax of your tour. After transfer back to Entebbe for your departure.
